I know, it's not just a song lyric but very cliche'. I'm grateful that my kids came out of the relationship, but glad the relationship is done so that now I can find true happiness. I learned 2 important things. 1. if it feels too good too fast it probably bears some scrutiny. 2. Time is on my side, not against me. I now know enough to take my time to find someone I am truly compatable with. I do not compare anybody to my ex. I try to look at each person I date with an open mind and an open heart.
